Try Porcelain Veneers

Some stains or discoloration are too stubborn for teeth whitening systems. For those teeth, we recommend veneers. Veneers are thin porcelain sheets that cover the fronts of your teeth. In addition to covering stains, veneers can reshape and improve the appearance of chipped teeth, crooked teeth, gapped smiles, and more. Veneers are translucent and have a very natural look.

CEREC® Same-Day Crowns

Crowns, or caps, are used to entirely cover an implant or a tooth that is structurally weak. It was once an arduous task to get a dental crown placed. First, we would make a mold of your teeth. The mold was sent to a lab where technicians would create your crown. In the meantime, we would put a temporary crown in place to protect your tooth while we waited a week or more for the permanent crown to come from the lab. Then you’d need to return so we could place the new crown.

Now, Dr. Taylor uses the CEREC® system. Using CAD/CAM technology instead of a mold, CEREC® takes the assembled information and creates a plan for your crown. Believe it or not, the system mills your crown right then and there No waiting; no extra visits.

Composite Fillings

Back in the day, fillings were made of silver amalgam or gold. Those substances are strong but aesthetically displeasing on front teeth. Dr. Taylor uses composite fillings that are tooth-colored. No one will know you had a cavity!
